As a liberal I would expect you to not use that kind of language in this situation. As a liberal I'm concerned for looking out for everyone's rights, never matter their race, color, gender, sex, religion,...or whatever. But being liberal doesn't instruct the language I use or my personal preferences- of which this matter is the subject.

The car is gay. I'm saying it has a gay aesthetic and that I don't like that style.
